Two aimed at having a fire in the Nav room in Enebakk

Two men are charged with having put the fire in the Nav room in Enebakk night on Monday. The two men are described as locals and acquaintances by the police.

The fire department was notified of the fire at 0.25 and was on site with the first patrol 12 minutes later. In addition to Nav, the Family House is housed in the same building.

– Two men in their 40s and 50s have been arrested, charged with putting on fire. The two are local and formerly known by the police, says operations manager Gisle Sveen in Eastern police district to NTB.

Arrested

He states that no formal interrogation of the two has yet been made, and that it is unknown how they respond to the charge.

Just under two hours after the police reported the fire, the two men were arrested suspected of having fired the fire.

– Immediate investigations on the site led us to conclude that the fire had been put on, and two men were arrested, operational manager Ronny Samuelsen in East Police District informed NTB at 2.47.

After Extinguishing

At 8 o’clock on Monday morning, the fire brigade works on the on-site cover. According to guardian leader Frode Johannessen in the East 110 Central Station, they will probably keep on covering much of the day.

The police will eventually block off the area and conduct a forensic examination, says operations manager Sveen.

At 2.39 am on Monday, the emergency services were notified of another fire in Enebakk, in a detached house in Hammerenveien. Everyone who lives in the detached house came out himself.

The police do not suspect that there is a connection between the fires. Here too, the fire service expects that the closure will take time.
