Three people imprisoned for smuggling with small aircraft in Kjeller

A small plane landed on Kjeller with 50 kilos of hashish on board with three people inside. One of the person acknowledges the smuggling. All three were imprisoned on Wednesday.

The pilot, a German in the 40’s and a fellow countryman in the 20’s say the drug found on board is completely unknown to them, writes Romerike Blad. Both point to a third party who joined the flight who is also a German in his 40’s.

“He is charged with serious drug crimes and drug imports to Norway, and he has now confirmed that he is behind. There is no specific quantity in the sentence, but it is stated in the explanation that he was aware that there was a drug in the plane and that he had the task of bringing this from Germany to Norway, “defends Jørund Lægland. In addition to 50 kilos of cannabis, the police found a large number of pills when they participated at Kjeller Airport at Lillestrøm.

The other two denied charges when they were sentenced for detention on Wednesday. However, the outcome was the same for all: four weeks imprisonment with a letter and a ban on visits. In the first two weeks they will be in full isolation.

Both the pilot and the youngest in charge has accused and says they will appeal on imprisonment.

In addition to the three men in the plane, two Norwegians in the 40s are charged with the matter. They were arrested in Oslo on Tuesday evening. It has not yet been decided whether or not to be produced for imprisonment.
