Sala’s family begs the police to continue the search

The sister of missing Emiliano Sala now urges the rescue crews not to end the search for the Cardiff player.

The Argentine football player’s transition from Nantes to Cardiff was completed last weekend, but when Sala was to fly from France to Wales, it went wrong after all the sun marks.

The small one-engine Piper aircraft disappeared from the radar just north of the canal island of Guernsey. According to French aviation authorities, there was also another person on board beside Sala and the pilot.

On Thursday, the Guernsey police authorities informed that the search for Sala was suspended. In a statement, it was said that the chances of finding survivors are considered minimal.

Now the soccer player’s family urgently asks for the search to continue.

– Please do not give up your search for my brother. I know in my heart that Emiliano is a fighter and I know he is still alive. Please do not stop, said sister Romina Sala in a statement Thursday according to the big newspaper The Guardian .

She further stated that she plans to travel to Guernsey to help resume the search for the missing brother.

– The idea is to seek out the search area and push for the search to continue. All I want is to find my brother, Romina Sala said.

The aviation authorities have begun investigation after the plane with the football player disappeared.
