Person stabbed and killed in Oslo

Man was killed in Holmenkollen, Oslo in knife stabbing incident on Saturday night. Accused, a man in his 30’s was arrested later on account of murder.
The incident happened in a lavvo at “Lille Gratishaugen” at the jumping facility, operating director Christian Krohn Engeseth in Oslo police district told NTB at 3 o’clock. The police were notified by both witnesses and AMK at 2.29.

At 3.15, Engeseth tells the police to control the weapon that they believe was used, and that all indicates that it is a knife stabling.

“We work out to investigate if this is a killing,” he told NTB.

He can not tell about gender or age of the person who was stabbed. Porters were still not notified at 4.45.

Social gathering

Lavvoen is owned by the skiing enthusiast and, according to their website, can be rented. Engeseth confirms to NTB that the incident occurred in connection with a social gathering in the lavvo. He does not want to say anything about the relationship between the victim and detained man in the 30’s.

Engeseth also does not want to say anything about the cause of the murder.

“Right now we are in an emergency phase, and it is far too early to say something about the course of events.

Witnesses are questioned

On-site witnesses have been taken to Scandic Holmenkollen Park.

“They were taken with you both to get them away from the scene and to get them into the heat. They are now being questioned at the hotel, while ambulances are on the spot for those who need follow-up of health, he says.
