Norwegian biker Vegard Stake Laengen extends his contract for 2 years

UAE team confirms the extension

The 29-year-old from Asker signed for the UAE in 2017 after one season in Swiss IAM. Now it is clear that Laengen will be team-mate with Alexander Kristoff next season too.

On Sunday, Vegard Stake Laengen showed up at the World Cup in Innsbruck. On Tuesday, the bike trial signed a new contract with its employer. The UAE team itself confirms the contract extension on its web pages.

“I am very pleased with the chance to continue in UAE Team Emirates for another two years,” said the bicycle test.

“We are a tied gang. I get well with my teammates and support, the atmosphere is motivating and it helps in performance. It gives me the opportunity to take advantage of moments like those during the NM and World Championships, he adds.

Laengen won the joint start during this year’s national championship, and on Sunday he broke up until 20 kilometers of World Championships started in Austria.

The next task for the UAE pro will be after all the sun marks, one-way turkey around, starting October 9th. There he probably gets Sven Erik Bystrøm on the UAE team.
