Norway and the United Kingdom agree on the brexite agreement

Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway have reached agreement with the United Kingdom that guarantees citizens rights after brexit.

The new agreement forms a reflection of the parts of the proposal for a EU-UK enrolment agreement that are also relevant to us.

The agreement is now submitted for signature on the Norwegian side.

Most of the agreement concerns citizens rights after the EU divorce, including around 20,000 Norwegians in the UK and 15,000 British in Norway.
