No witnesses after man was knocked down and robbed in Moss

A man in his 40s was threatened with a knife night by Monday, beaten with an iron rod and robbed of money in Moss center. The perpetrators are still at liberty.

The abusers contacted the police at 1.41am on Monday.

– He told me that he had been threatened with a knife by three people and that he was beaten with an iron rod, liturgist Finn Håvard Aas in Eastern police district informed NTB at 2.53.

The man was hit in the back and / or head and was transported to the emergency room for treatment. He should not be seriously injured.

– Ran is of course serious. When a person is also threatened and knocked down, we see it very seriously, Aas said.

Officers described to the police the robbers as three North African men wearing dark clothes.

Just over 3 o’clock the police ended the active search for the perpetrators. Track search has been done on the spot, but the police have not been able to find witnesses to the incident that took place near the railway station, Aas told NTB at 5.30.

The Eastern Police District Investigation Department is now taking over the case and will obtain explanation from the victim, questioning any witnesses and checking out any surveillance images.
