New rainfall record in Bergen

Bergen can include one more record in its account and that too of rainfall.

It has been raining a lot since past three months in Bergen which has led to breakdown of the old rainfall record.

The old record was 1,397.6 millimeters from November 2006 to January 2007. This year a total of 1,399.2 millimeters have fallen over the past three months in the city between the seven mountains.

Meanwhile in Finnmark, the snow has begun to lay on the roads. The meteorologists have set danger level to yellow due to difficult driving conditions in the coastal and fjord areas of the county, recommending the use of car tires that suit the driving conditions. At the same time they also warned that the danger level is increasing.
