The man was found at 9 o’clock on Wednesday morning by a police dog, not far from the place were he went missing. Southwest police district states that he is cold, and pale.

The search has taken place under challenging conditions in the Suldalsheiene in Rogaland. He reported that he had got stuck in the shadows in the area around Skaulen.

“We are still working on it. There are terribly difficult conditions with dense fog and very demanding terrain. We have about 100-150 meters away from his position, but we have fallen below him in the terrain, “said operation leader Kurt Løklingholm in the Southwest Police District to NTB at 6.25 Wednesday morning.

Two filings were sent out of the volunteers, acquaintances and police to try to get the man out.

The one lure went from the Sauda side towards Skaulen, but had to take a break on a cabin because it was “zero visibility” in the area. The second team went from Hamrabø in Suldal.
