Military vehicles drove off the road on Røros

Drivers taken to hospital after a Norwegian military car ran off the road on Røros.

At 23.03 on Friday night, the police received a message that a military vehicle had driven off the road at fv. 531 at Røros.

– The vehicle has been thrown and rolled once. Drivers got themselves out of the car, says operations manager Øystein Sagen in Trøndelag police district.

The vehicle must be a Norwegian military car. Military police assisted with traffic management on the spot. It should have been very happy on the spot.

“It was slippery on the road, and a thin canopy on the asphalt,” says Sagen.

The driver has been taken to hospital for further treatment.

The police in Trøndelag announced on Twitter about a military vehicle that has driven off the road at Røros late Friday evening.

“Truck has drove off the road, rolled around and stands on the wheels again now, writes police in Trøndelag in a twitter report at 23.26.

The driver of the vehicle has got out of the car.
