“The time has come to leave my position to others. Five years has been my stated recommendation for the period a senior leader with major change tasks should be in the same position, and I know that, says Krohn Traaseth.
“I have had a fierce crew in Innovation Norway, and together we have managed to deliver important results for a business in conversion. I have been genuinely fond of our community assignments and not least in my colleagues who have a tireless commitment to our tasks, she adds.
Krohn Traaseth briefed chairman Gunnar Bovim about his decision Thursday evening.
“It was a sad and surprising message. I had hoped to keep Anita awhile. At the same time, I fully respect her choices. Innovation Norway has undergone extensive and impressive restructuring under Anita’s leadership, and we will ensure that we continue to develop further, “he said.
Bovim indicates that last year, the company provided services for NOK 7.3 billion to Norwegian business, an increase of 24 percent from 2014.
– During the same period, the company reduced operating costs by six percent and repayed around NOK 800 million in dividends and transfers to its owners. In the last two years, Innovation Norge has also been named Norway’s most attractive employer, says the chairman.
