Kiss and Def Leppard play in Trondheim

The Legends in Kiss plays one of their latest concerts at Trondheim Rocks.

Kiss’ ‘End of The Road World Tour’ was released on Monday. One of the stops is Trondheim Rocks Friday 28 June next year.

Today’s edition of Kiss consists of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.

– Gene Simmons wished to have his farewell shows in main cities of important countries. They have the old capital of our country in list, which is also called the rock capital of Norway.

Trondheim rocks is a three-day festival and is in news all over internationally. Due to overwhelming booking, Live Nation and Trondheim Stage extend the festival with one day.

Monster hit


On Monday, Kiss announced which cities they arrive at the launching trip. Trondheim is one of them.

Kiss is the Friday headliner and they have plays of Kiss super fan Bent Sæther and the rest of Motorpsycho.

The British hard rock band Def Leppard has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and two of them got the rare piston diamond (over 10 million sold, journals) of the record industry.

 1987 “Hysteria”, with the monster hit “Pour Some Sugar on Me”, was sold in over 30 million, while Def Leppard sold over 10 million of “Pyromania” from 83 in the United States only.

Metal, Indie and Blues

Saturday night there are Iggy Pop and Dumdum Boys who are the main artists. On Monday’s release it became apparent that the influential melodic metal band In Flames from Sweden comes. The Swedes have been doing it since 1990 and released their currently last album “Battles” in 2016.

The bands Asylum and All Them Witches were also announced Monday. Asylum is a British pop rock band in Ash and Supergrass Street, while All Them Witches from Nashville plays blues inspired hard and rock.

– The city and Norway are well represented through Dumdum Boys, Motorpsycho and Gluecifer so far. At the same time, it is important for us to still be able to bid on major international headlines after the start of Iron Maiden and Volbeat, “says Stein Vanebo.

Nine of the artists to play this year’s festival are still not announced. Ordinary ticket sales start Wednesday at 09, while some tickets are released via Trondheim Stage on Facebook the day before.
