On an evening that has been packed with emotions, many of the artists have chosen songs that are of particular importance to them. Several felt some tears when they were to tell about what the song means to them.
Ella Marie chose to sing a song that helped her get out of a depression , while Chris Holsten chose to dedicate her song to sisters, who are handicapped – and that has given him a completely different perspective in life.
Heine sang a song about antirasism, which means extra lot to him because he is the father of an African boy.
In the end, Maria Arredondo, Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen and Ole Børud were left with the least votes from the viewers.
For Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen it did not keep all the way.
“I’m almost relieved,” says Asbjørnsen to Dagbladet.
“Now I can finally do what I really do. It has been very educational and fun, but exhausting for self-esteem. It’s tough to be judged every single week for something you really do not do. It’s a strain, she says.
Seven participants are now moving on to the next Saturday’s “Star Camp”, to sing opera.
