Google Pay, a new payment solution from Google, launched in Norway on Tuesday. Android phone users can now easily make transactions on their phones.
“If you pay with your Visa card in Google Pay, you can rest assured that your card data is secure and that payments are faster and easier,” says Jens Nes, Norway’s Visa Manager.
It is mandatory to first register Visa card in Google Pay to use it.
Google Pay is initially available to Visa Visa customers in Nordea, Storebrand Bank, Sparebanken SØR, Monobank and Revolut. It will be available to customers in Sbanken from next year.
It is possible to use payment solutions at all outlets that accept contactless payment.
The company writes in its press release that Norway is the 25th country to get Google Pay.
