Fire in a used car shop in Buskerud under control

An used car store in Lierskogen, Buskerud was caught on fire on Friday morning. Fire department had come over and they had the control over the fire.

The police announce that no personal injury has been reported. There was a large smoke evolution and some residents nearby were evacuated due to smoke.

The cause of fire is currently unknown, Southeast Police District says.

According to Drammen Tidende , the car hall in the shop in Gamle Drammensvei near the E18 is completely burnt down, while the building next to it got totally damaged.

Arild Reinhartsen, leader of the armed forces in the Drammen region’s fire department, said to NRK that between 15 and 20 were in a fire. The fire service from both Asker and Drammen participated in the closure work.
