Easy win for Manchester city against Cardiff in the Premier League

Manchester City had few problems winning 5-0 against Cardiff in the Premier League on Saturday. Sergio Agüero jubled with goals, while Riyad Mahrez became a goalkeeper.

Agüero opened the scores for Manchester City with his 205th scoring in match number 300 as City player. The Argentine loves to play against newly created teams. 13 goals and two goalkeeping passes are the culmination of the last 13 games in the Premier League against teams as the year before was at second highest level in England.

Bernardo and Ilkay Gündogan increased to 3-0 before the break before Riyad Mahrez became a second-team scorer. It was Mahrez’s first scoring for Manchester City.

– We did well. We took the fight from the start, and I feel we deserved victory, “said Mahrez to PL-TV.

“I’m very happy to get my first scoring for the club. It took its time, but I knew it would come. I will try to help the team as much as I can, he added.

Manchester City are still two points behind Serie Liverpool, who won easily against Southampton on Saturday. Cardiff is on the bottom with two points in the season. The Walisans are still waiting for their first three points.

It took a bit of time to get the city machine running, but after a half an hour it resolved properly. First, Sergio Agüero turned the ball into the corner after being set up by Bernardo in front of the goal before the wait from the first goal doubled the lead with a lucky pass that dropped in the corner behind Neil Etheridge only three minutes after the 1-0 goal.

Ilkay Gündogan increased to 3-0 minute before break after playing a small wall with Raheem Sterling before he scored the ball at the cross.

Agüero also had a great opportunity to score four minutes earlier, but Cardiff’s keeper just managed to close his legs when the tip tried to put the ball between them.

Vondt got worse for Cardiff at the very beginning of the second round. Lee Peltier got a heavy bang in his shoulder and had to be carried on a stretcher. The TV repertoire showed that the shoulder might have been out of order.

Riyad Mahrez became Manchester City’s fourth goal scorer for the day when he was alone in the field and could post a cross from Gündogan into an almost open goal.

Mahrez set the score to 5-0 after receiving a free opportunity of Cardiff Bruno Manga just before full time.
