Denmark’s Prime Minister: – Barbaric tragedy in Morocco

Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen mentions the murders in Morocco as “beastly” and “barbaric”.

Løkke came night to Thursday with a statement about the killing of a Norwegian and a Danish woman on a hike in Morocco.

“Much now indicates that the killings can be politically motivated and thus a terrorist act. It fills me with anger and disgust, and I take the strongest distance from these barbaric and bestial actions, “the Danish Prime Minister said in a press release.

The statement comes shortly after Danish intelligence confirms that Moroccan authorities investigate relations with the extremist group IS after the killing of Norway’s Maren Ueland and Danish Louisa Vesterager Jespersen.

The Prime Minister also expresses compassion with the families of the killed women.

– Your life was brutally terminated too much. My thoughts are with the women’s families, who have lost the most precious in their lives.

He adds that the Danish government closely follows the case in Morocco and takes development very seriously.

– This shows that there are still dark forces that will fight against us and the way we live. It makes me angry, but also more interested in never giving up and giving up for them, “says Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
