“Children’s Fire Station” to teach fire prevention and safety

Brannbamsen Bjørnis, a comforting baby for children who have experienced fire and accidents, will now be used to teach them about fire safety.

On Tuesday, a new kindergarten scheme was launched and at the same time, the Oslo Fire and Rescue Service opened its new offer to kindergarten children in Oslo: Bjørn’s own “Children’s Fire Station”. As of now, a large number of kindergarten children have met Bjørnis and now he is going to teach the kids about fire safety and prevention.

He was born five years ago in Trondheim and has since grown to become the whole of Brann-Norway’s mascot. The firefighters across Norway have been distributed around 3,000 teddy bears till date.
