In a press release, Nortura writes that the results have not been in line with the Board’s expectations, according to Dagens Næringsliv .
“In the past, unfortunately there are too many arrows pointing in the wrong direction, and we do not have time to wait for a long time for significant improvements. The board therefore sees the need to make this change now, says chairman Trine Hasvang Vaa.
She says she is grateful for Kolberg’s efforts for 20 years for Nortura and the last five as CEO.
According to E24 , Kolberg has the right to keep his salary and social benefits for 12 months if the group tells him. The Nortura boss’s annual salary was NOK 3.7 million last year, equivalent to almost NOK 310,000 a month.
The resigned boss will thus receive a minimum of this after the employment relationship is terminated.
Vice President Hans Thorn Wittussen has been appointed as new CEO for the time being. The board announces that the pursuit of Kolberg’s successor starts immediately.
