At least 13 killed in attack at Afghanistan elections

At least 13 people were killed in a suicide attack against an election campaign in the east of Afghanistan, informs local authorities.

In addition, at least 25 people were injured when a suicide bomber attacked supporters of election candidate Abdul Nasir Mohmmand East in Nangarhar Province. Many of the 25 are critically injured, according to the authorities.

The attack occurred in the Kama district while election.

Several attacks have so far affected preparations for the postponed parliamentary elections in Afghanistan, which will take place on October 20th.

Until now, five candidates have been killed in attack, according to the National Election Commission, and it is feared that the attacks will continue. Both the Taliban and IS have promised to hit the electoral process.
