15-year-old gets 10,000 kroner in custody after a fatal accident with watercraft

Two boy's were involved in a fatal accident, one dead.

Two boys in their 15 and 17’s were involved in a watercraft accident in Lyngdal. 17 year old boy died in the accident.

According to the police, the boy is found as guilty of three offenses: He brought a boat he was unable to lead due to low age, engine size and missing boat driver’s license. In addition, he drove in the dark without the lantern and drove irresponsibly, writes Fædrelandsvennen .

According to the newspaper, Agder police district will issue a deposit of 10,000 kroner. Prosecutor Terje Kaddeberg Skaar will not comment on the case, but refers to a press release to be sent on Thursday.
